We woke up this morning to rain. Not a heavy rain but rain just the same. It has been some time since we've seen rain. Back home the drought continues but we had rain here in Wisconsin. The rally started up at noon today. The parking folks were still bringing in coaches and the area around us is pretty much full by now. We are in row seven of the coaches. (Ours is the fourth coach up on the right side.) Row eight is in front of us with row nine behind them. These rows continue out for several more. It rained off and on all day but that did not dampen our spirits. We made it over to the Vendor Building to see what neat things were to be had for our coaches. Also got to the Monaco Service Truck to turn in our repair request. During the rally we can have two things repaired and only have to pay half the normal labor cost to get this done. We've only got a couple of little minor things that need repair but might as well get them done while we are here.
Later in the day I went exploring to see if our friends, Ron and Kay Rivoli, had made it in. They got within just a few miles away yesterday and were due in this morning. Ron and Kay make up the Rivoli RV Revue and will be the main entertainment tomorrow night. They will also do a gospel show on Thursday morning. For those who have followed this blog for any time know, Ron and Kay have become great friends and we have followed their career as they perform all over the country. We will see them again this October in Marksville, Louisiana, when they perform at the rally of our other club, Monaco America. Anyway, I did locate their coach and was able to have a good visit with them. Looking forward to their show tomorrow.

What a strange looking sky! We've just spent £70 on electrics for the RV and it goes back next week for futher work. I'm hoping this doesn't end up being where all the money goes... My priority is still the maintenance of the 'real' house and we're getting estimates on repairs to guttering and fascia boards and the way up high painting jobs. I know you don't like your 'stick' house much but I still love my brick one!
Shelly: RV's are much like boats. BOAT stands for "break out another thousand". When you take a house, put it on wheels and run it up and down the roads we drive on it will continually require repairs, which translates to "money".
